CASSIUS

CASSIUS, an interactive design interface, invites users to a virtual boxing match. Users compete with their computer-mouse against a 3D model of a punching bag. Virtual boxing gloves give blows on this bag and thus form a unique design object. On the basis of the readily adapted computer model, production data is generated instantly and transmitted to Fluid Forms' production facilities . 3D printers transform the virtual draft layer by layer into an exclusive piece of art.

Suspension Desk

Again going for simplicity and dual purpose. this is basically a way for designers or maybe even cubicle dwellers to periodically increase office space. The desk is cantilevered against the wall and can be fastened permanently or it can be attached via a hinge so that when not needed it can be lowered. the keyboard drawer has a locking mechanism for when the desk is up or down. The ideal monitor would be an imac that could be slipped into the wood retainer block. Cording can be snaked out the back and through a hole in the desk. Peripherals could have there own area routered out and secured with fastening straps or wood housings. Fastening straps would give the piece and old world style with a modern repurposed design aesthetic. Actually I wouldn't mind having this at home to make room for the treadmill. Just a thought

Rotating Candelabra

Basically my designs are hand drawn and terrible. But they evoke an idea of simplicity and usefulness. The rotating candelabra for instance. How many times have you seen your wife, mother, girlfriend go around the table to reach all the candles. It's kind of ridiculous. Basically it's purple teak on an oak or maple lazy susan. Just spin it, lift the glass hurricanes (or don't) and light. It's that simple. I hope you like it.
