YIKES. This is an unanticipated pure pleasure for the eyes. My regret is that we do not yet have internet holography. I really would like to see this in full.

To carp about presumed waste is like whining about a sunrise because your eyes are not used to the light. This is a masterpiece and escudo should get kudos instead of drive-by complaints.

Waste not, want not, what are you talking about ?? This is truly inspiring, a brilliant eliding of form and function and, quite honestly, the most stunningly beautiful chair I have ever seen.

I guess the difference is bended laminated wood(S Chair) or plastic(Panton Chair) vs. milled wood.
