2-Seat Coffee Table

The 2-Seat Coffee Table was designed with multi-purpose in mind. It can be used as a coffee table or two separate chairs. The table is stable enough so that only half can be used and the other half for sitting. The lower level of the table is 1'-6", low enough for the user to sit on the floor and place the labtop on the table to work on. Set the lower level against each other and they become a bench. Many more uses are left to be discovered.
The 2-Seat Coffee Table can be made by simply laminating a series of 4 different cut-out from a sheet of plywood. The dimensions of the four cut-out are: 18" X 2" (#1), 20" X 2" (#2), 18" X 2" + 20" X 2" (#3), 16" X 2" (#4). This table can be made from a variety of raw materials, but plywood would be the most inexpensive.
The back of the chair can be customized for a more distinctive look which adds to the aesthetic look of the table. The horizontal legs of the table can also be swing or unscrew then screw to further the transformation.
