This curvlinear media storage unit can be used alone or in multiples to create interesting storage solutions for many different objects. It is free standing, but can be mounted to the wall with simple frame hanging hardware. It is CNC milled from plywood, then assembled with dowel and small round wooden spacers.

I would not reccomend this item to the people who want it as it is a poor piece of art and probably dosn't hold magazines so whats the point in it really....

neat design. I think you could push this design further by designing the individual parts to puzzle together on the plywood sheet to minimize the waste factor when it is routed with a CNC.

yeah, i agree. and after sanding and sanding and sanding all these curves, i think that this design would be really efficient if it were laser-cut from acrylic (no sanding necessary), and then the scraps can be melted down and recycled.
