I like this idea a lot. Would add a lot of depth and visual interest to a wall. I would suggest selling a template w/ these, however, for assistance in hanging all of the pieces. Man that would be a pain if you wanted everything to fit together and got your holes lined up just slightly off! A template could help a lot with that, though. Not enough furniture these days comes with that and it can't be an expensive or hard thing to create and include! Props on the idea...very creative and still simple and fitting for almost any decor!

Solid concept. The dual nature of this design is understated but also essential to the appeal. The ability for these cubes to be nestled into a compact form is very useful. Those with lots of space to work with can make an elaborate setup such as the one shown in your design. In contrast, those with limited space can simply use less cubes. This design manages to be both simple and refined...looks like a winner to me.

The possibilities are endless. You can stack little ones to the side, under, in or out. There is a mathematical principle to the number of combinations, but to save on that note from me you know that there are numerous ways to set these up.
You can spread this out to make a catacomb network of display space or nestle these up together for storage space. Then you have immense outer dimensions to space saving purpose; what simplicity it beckons form and function of the typical box to furniture.

What genius!
The compact storing concept
The compact storing concept of these shelves is excellent. The form language could be explored some more.
Great configuration
Great configuration possibilities. Clever use of nesting for storage when not in use. Would work great in my attic room.
