Coke is it!

The Coke bottle bed is made out of 1800 bottles of Coca Cola and some Christmas lights. As part of the Maximalism movement, this bed is a very good symbol of how our excesses of mass consumption can be glorified. Two People’s consumptions during one year were needed to collect enough bottles for a bed for those two people.

This is a really good example of how we can transform one mass consumpted product into another mass consumpted product. Everyone needs to drink and everyone also has to sleep. Love this piece!
